What this website collects when you visit, book a demo or email us, and what we do with it. It doesn’t cover the QuoteKamili app.
Who we are
QuoteKamili runs this website and is responsible for your data. Questions? Email hello@quotekamili.com.
What we collect and why
- When you visit: like any website, ours receives your IP address, the page you asked for and your browser’s name. Our host, Railway, logs these to run the site and keep it secure. No cookies, analytics or tracking.
- When you book a demo: your name, your email, the time you pick and anything you add, collected for us by Cal.com. We use them only to arrange and hold the call, and we never record it. Cal.com’s booking page is its own website, under its own privacy policy.
- When you email us: your address, your name and whatever you write. We use them only to reply.
Our legal basis
Our legitimate interests: replying to you, arranging the demo you asked for, and running this website securely. We use as little data as these need.
Who handles it for us
- Railway (Railway Corporation, United States): hosts this website.
- Namecheap (Namecheap, Inc., United States): hosts our email.
- Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., United States): takes demo bookings and sends the confirmation.
- The video-call service named in your booking confirmation: holds the call.
We never sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
Where it goes
This website runs in the Netherlands, though you may reach it through a Railway server nearer you. Railway, Namecheap and Cal.com are US companies, so your data may go to the United States, and so may the video-call service.
Railway’s terms with us include the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and the UK addendum. Namecheap’s privacy policy names the same clauses. Cal.com takes part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension. Email us for a copy of any of these.
How long we keep it
- Railway’s request log: as long as Railway’s own rules keep it; its plans show up to 90 days.
- Your emails and booking: up to 12 months after we last hear from you, or less if you ask.
- Visits: we keep nothing ourselves.
Automated decisions
We make no automated decisions about you, and we don’t profile you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to limit how we use it.
You can also object to how we use it at any time, and we’ll stop unless we have a compelling reason that outweighs yours.
Email hello@quotekamili.com from the address concerned. We’ll reply within a month, or tell you within that month if a complex request needs up to two more.
How to complain
Tell us first at hello@quotekamili.com, and we’ll confirm we have it within 30 days. You can also go to a regulator:
- in the UK, the Information Commission (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- in the EU or anywhere else, the data protection authority where you live or work
Do you have to give us anything?
No. The whole website works without it. We need your name and email only to arrange a demo or reply to you.
How this website is kept secure
HTTPS on every page, and no forms, logins or cookies, so it holds nothing you type.
What we store on your device
No cookies. If you dismiss the bar suggesting the UK or US English version of a page, your browser remembers that in one entry, qk-locale-suggestion. It never leaves your device.
We don’t track visitors, so a Do Not Track signal changes nothing here.
